It’s Coaching, Not Talk Therapy

In a coaching session, you’ll have a discussion with Miriam Diana and participate in empowering exercises.

What won’t happen: You won’t spend the whole time simply repeating your ruminations out loud. And Miriam Diana won’t try to drill “positive thinking” into your head.

Instead of focusing on problems, Miriam Diana keeps sessions — as well as your private at-home practices — focused on your DESIRES. They’re our North Star.

Detailed Intake Session

Before your first session, Miriam Diana will ask you what you want out of life — particularly, your love life. Be prepared to answer:

  • What in your past has brought you to this desire?

  • Once you get what you want… what then? How do you hope to feel?

  • If you don’t know what you want, do you know what you DON’T want?

Sessions: 1.5 Hours

Miriam Diana leads 1.5-hour coaching sessions for individuals. They come in packages with three different lengths: 3 sessions, 5 sessions, and 10 sessions.

Every session starts with celebrations. We’ll talk about what’s going RIGHT in your sex and love life, and use that as a jumping off point.

Because of the brain’s negativity bias, it’s important to pat yourself on the back when good things happen. This helps you show up to your love life in a bold and balanced way.

Miriam Diana will tailor each package to your specific needs — what you yearn for, and what you don’t want to miss out on in life.

You may focus on one of the topics above: healing from breakups, stepping out into your dating life, and finding the best relationship structure for you. Or, you can design a more custom area of focus with Miriam Diana.

With three 1.5-hour sessions, we will clarify your desires.

  • We'll explore: What do *YOU* really want?

  • You'll walk away with a better understanding of what you actually desire.

  • You’ll also learn how you hope to feel once you fulfill that desire (it’s often not obvious).

5-Session
Package

With five 1.5-hour sessions, we’ll do a deep dive on why you’re not getting what you want.

  • You’ll befriend your different "parts" — including the ones that seem at war with each other.

  • You’ll walk away with the tools to not only understand but accept what you want — even if it's not what you "should" do.

  • We'll create a plan for how to get it.

10-Session
Package

With ten 1.5-hour sessions, we will go on a journey into your past to see what wounds, resentments, fears, and confusion are messing with your approach to dating, relationships, and sex.

  • We'll explore your childhood, as well as formative dating experiences. You can let it all out.

  • We'll get you going on actions that will fulfill your desires in a way that ALSO feels safe and authentic.

You’ll walk away with:

  • A plan for getting what you want, as well as actual experiences in dating and loving.

  • Tools to take care of yourself — to care for your tender heart, your adventurous spirit, and thought-filled mind!

  • More self-awareness.

  • A better ability to connect with others.

  • More confidence in yourself as a date, partner, and lover.

10 Key Tools

Miriam Diana uses these healing techniques get to the root of what’s getting in your way.

But we don’t yell at the parts of ourselves that are causing problems. We don’t order our “issues” to go away. That doesn’t work. Instead, we learn to work with — not against — these aspects of your personality. All parts of you are welcome here.

  • It’s impossible to make decisions when you’re stressed out and spinning. Miriam Diana uses PMR — tightening and relaxing muscle groups — to help you release physical and emotional tension.
    The catharsis can feel like letting out a big sigh, or even like the release of an orgasm.

  • With Miriam Diana’s vivid visualizations, you’ll drop into full-body scenes where you get what you need.

    • To help you feel less shame and more self-love, you’ll visualize embracing your inner child.

    • To help you feel cared for, you’ll visualize being embraced by a benevolent being.

    • You’ll also walk into a scene where you have the love life that you want. Envisioning fulfillment — and getting a taste of what it’s like NOW — is the first step to getting it.

    In real life, you’ll learn to trust when good things come to you. You’ll be more confident when doors open to you, and more likely to make the right moves.

  • Miriam Diana opens sessions with a non-religious ceremony: lighting a candle and imagining a warm, golden ring of safety encircling her clients. In turn, clients may:

    • Create their own rituals for inspiration at the start of the session.

    • Incorporate sacred routines into their daily schedules for grounding in between sessions.

    • Practice a “sex magic ritual”: harnessing the power of orgasmic energy to manifest desires. (Miriam Diana provides detailed instruction in sex magic, but the practices are done in private, outside of sessions.)

  • Giving yourself snuggles, deeeeeeep massage, and sensual touch are key to self-soothing. They help integrate strong emotions and manage negative thought patterns. What’s more, touching yourself proves that you can give yourself pleasure. It softens the feeling of “being desperate” that can drive people to attach too quickly to the wrong people, settle for someone they don’t like.


    Get ready to hug your sweet self and caress your cute face. And, for homework — get ready to give yourself some hot AF genital massage and ooey gooey orgasms.

  • Internal Family Systems (IFS)-style parts work treats the different parts of your psyche like different members of a family. Just like a father might criticize his child, your inner home life might feel like an aggressive critic who screams at an innocent, overwhelmed kid.

    In parts work, we never shame or destroy any aspect of ourselves. Often, a part of you that originally formed as a way to protect you is now sabotaging your love life. In fact, your inner child may inadvertently be directing decisions about your sex life!

    With parts work, we meet these parts individually, get to know them, and come to understand what their motivation is. We welcome inner critics as advisors, we let inner children off the hook from adult decisions, and we draw our strength from our true selves. In time, the parts that were causing trouble tend to loosen their hold on us, and we slide into the driver’s seat of our love life.

  • Have you ever wanted to yell at your parents for what’s gone wrong in your relationships and sex life? Or rage at your partner for how shitty they’ve been?

    You’re not alone. But doing this IRL can cause more problems than it’s worth.To use effective interpersonal skills, most people need to feel the full extent of their feelings first. Enter Gestalt-style therapy! Gestalt therapy techniques include envisioning someone sitting nearby, and talking “to” them. You’ll really let ‘em have it! And then, you’ll take their seat, embody them, and respond to what you’ve said.

    This style of role play can help you release rage and come into balance, as well as reenact and resolve old issues. The best part: It can help you realize the best way to actually interact with someone today.

  • Miriam Diana will help you connect to your “felt sense”: your physical and emotional feelings. The felt sense is often called intuition. It’s your gut reaction, the wise part of your body-mind that just knows when you’re in love, or KNOWS FOR SURE that something’s wrong.

    Both anxious overthinking and avoidant suppression weakens our connection to our felt sense. But coaching in conscious dating strengthens it — and reminds you of who you are.

  • We use the breath to free us from our default mode and and help us enter into a different state of being.

    • Miriam Diana leads breathing exercises to help you settle, ground, and relax.

    • Other exercises help get you into a state of flow.

    • And Tantric breathing can feel energetic, alive, and orgasmic.

  • Writing out your worries long-hand is one of the best ways to let go of them. To soften your inner critic, you’ll receive some writing prompts during the session and some to do on your own time between sessions.

  • Asking someone out? Going on a first date? I’ve gotchu. We can role play what you’ll say to get you comfortable. And if you end up feeling embarrassed, don’t worry! We all feel that way. You can re-enact your pie-in-the-face moment with Miriam Diana and get some perspective.
