About the Workshop
During the workshop, Miriam Diana will lead participants in a “rage ritual” and soothing self-cuddling practice, followed by connected sharing.
What’s a “rage ritual”?
In the context of this workshop, a “rage ritual” is an exercise that uses movement and symbolic imagery to encourage you to safely express feelings of anger, frustration, or annoyance.
The Valentine’s Day rage ritual will involve light dance to symbolize the feeling of pushing something away and saying “no!”
What’s self-cuddling?
Get ready to hug your sweet self and caress your cute face! Self-cuddling is giving yourself affection through your hands, arms, and body position. It’s a way to feel loved — that feeling of “I am loved and lovable — when you’re alone. For an example, check out this self-cuddle instructional video.
Why is this workshop free?
At the end of the workshop, Miriam Diana will pitch her Post-Breakup Support Group. The support group starts the first week of April (on Wednesday, April 3).
The spring Breakup Support Group includes 8 group meetings with two options: either 12pm ET on zoom, or 7pm ET in Washington, D.C.
